  • The advanced class teachers did not send home an written intoduction to their class and their expectations. When I asked for one they looked at me like I was an alien. My daughter's schedule has changed three times. She is creative and they promised that since they don't have art (replaced with computers) she would take theater arts. We are still waiting...its almost May. They sent letters home (although vague). Never really explained anything. I am not surprised because the principal has not grasped the English language and neither has her staff. And it seems that the teachers are not very creative and do not integrate the internet into the classrooms. Teachers do not post class lessons online although they are given an opportunity). And, they ones who do are inconsistent. Too bad. I bet they don't even know what blackboard is. Thats what better schools do like Highland Park. Many teachers have not been apart of a good school district. And, in classic CHISD style when you bring an complaint to them they make sure to malign and humiliate. Don't send your children here. I have hired a tutorer for my children because the curriculum is good but not followed in classes. Too bad. The teachers are set in their ways and refuse to change. Too bad. Send your kids to West Intermediate. Minneapolis schools must be pretty bad. And, if you have to move to Cedar Hill make sure your child goes to West...This school is ghetto from the teacher to the staff.
