  • A few outstanding teachers and not much else.

The office is disorganized and is rarely helpful. Some of the office staff is polite. One is incompetent and spends most of her time yelling at kids.

Rules that do not allow students to go the bathroom but a few times each marking period appear more about control than about learning or in the best interest of the students.

Giving a student lunch detention because a student did not want to color their social studies notebook cover again has no bearing on learning.

Unless your child is in honors or AP classes your child will be wasting their time at McLean 6th grade.
