  • I as a student at Energized do understand many of the things that thee parents say. We do realize theres alot of things that you may not like about the school but they have AMAZING teachers even if their not certified. They have us go to school monday-sat to learn and get ahead not to break us with homework. The h.s might be a mess now but im sure when its done its will raise to the top . Many children leave Energize after 8th grade year and when they come back to visit they talk about the courses they take & the fact that they understand that course much more because the teacher tey had didnt want them to be 'good' they wanted us to be 'the BEST'
im a proud energized for excellence eigth grader & i must say i love it. And im sure your children will thank you after they get to eigth grade.
Class of 2011 is AWSOME :D

  • too many schools in ONE building. the restrooms are a mess. cleaning ladies scream at you, you scream at them. male teachers are on their period and threaten to give you extra homework. then you teachers accusing you of chewing gum and threatening you to kick you out if you dont throw away, which is stupid cuss it's false. no PE whatsoever. the lunch is a dump. the cafeteria is small & m.s & h.s walks all the way to the pre-k building to eat lunch.

  • This school has a horrible principal. She makes a big deal out of small stuff. If you middle school girl ends up pregnant, it doesn't matter the time of the year the principal will kick your child out of the school, without caring about the time of the year. Yeah she spends money on giving 5th and 8th graders a good yeah, but still no excuse for attitude.

They also do like a high school prom and graduation, for the 8th graders. But if you child didn't attended 3yr of middle school there, he/she cant be class No. 1. Even if your child is way smarter than the 1 or 2 ranked. And some of the people that comment about the teachers no being certified, is true!! I attended that school, so i'm able to confirm that.

The staff working there don't do their job right. I have seen how the have their own way of working. One time they had a school trip to Orlando, and some of them brought their kids, or grandkids, when they were suppose to be payed chaperons, they were too busy having fun of their own than taking care of the kids. My two fiends got lost for hours, because their chaperons. Horrible staff!!

So don't send your kids to this school, this school only worries about how their Cover not the inside. They are trying to be to perfect but their not.

  • I don't know why the principal and the supervisor likes to be shouting to every teacher when they make much money to this school. They have teacher without certification. EEA is exploiting teachers.

  • This school was touted as being a great school during the admission process for the freshman, but once the kids arrived it was a different story. The prinicpal lies on the kids. The Director is a mean woman that yells at the teachers in front of the kids. Kids that identify themselves as Gay are treated differently and are singled out and treated badly. Most of the teachers are not certified. The school gets money federally and grant money from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation once they get it the kids are left by the wayside. There is a lawsuit pending. Do not send your kids there. If they are not strong academically they will be kicked out before its standardized testing time. Low scores affect their status.

  • A lot of the employees without a teaching certification or an Associate degree end up teachng the children most of the time at this school. Is your child's teacher certified? This is a way the principal saves a lot of money by not hiring real teachers.

  • when i call the school, its hard to reach someone because the phone is rarely answered. when you leave a msg. for a teacher, your call is never returned and can never reach the principal. the school takes forever to send the applications to get free lunch. and the person that is in charge of doing it is so inresponsible and not professional at all. her name is crystal. she asked for my phone number and neer returned my call. this school needs to pay more attention to parents concerns
