  • My children have attended Frank D. Parent for two years. I am not completely impressed. The Kindergarten program is extremely weak as far as curriculum goes. Thank God my child did Kindergarten somewhere else or I don't believe he would be as advanced as he is today. Unfortunately, my other son did and academically it shows. Ms. Washington is an excellent teacher, if your child gets her you will be very satisfied with the results. If you care about your child's education you will drive the extra mile. Don't let the neighborhood fool you. The school does not match the area at all. The principal is very nice, but not principal material. Guess that's why the VP runs the show. The office staff spends all day gossiping so you will stand there atleast 15 min before anyone asks to help you. Many will agree with me when I say this, not at all a great school.
