  • I enjoyed the awards ceremony Monday night for the outstanding students at Southwest. However, do you know how disappointing it was to see hardly no interest by the high school staff or the school board. All staff members, especially the administration, should have been in attendance. It was horrible that there was such little care for the outstanding students. I'm not sure why everyone was absent, but come on, everyone!

  • I am now on the third kid going to this school and overall the school does a great job. The teacher to kid ratio is under 18 which is low. I do wish that more teacher care about the kid more, but overall they do a good job.

  • Southwest is pretty fun. Only change I'd make is on the leniant punishments. Certain people get in trouble a lot and go to alternative a lot, and like it. They'll mess with people just to go back. Just leave them out of the school. I say if they've been once, next time they should be expelled. They're bullies. Other than that, it's pretty good.

  • Been around S.A for over 15 years and this high school seems to keep up with the times and gangs as well as possible.

    Thanks
