  • I loved going to school in this small town. My graduating class was only 60 kids and it was nice to be able to be friends with everyone in the class. My teachers were excellent and I am still in contact with some of them.
The comment above mentioned the writing expectations. I even loved those. There were NOT that many dropouts due to the writing expectations and there were so many chances to write essays or fix minor problems in essays that it wasn't that big of a deal for most of us.

  • Had some very good teachers in which i learned a lot, but being a very small school, they were able to do ANYTHING they wanted to without people able to do much. Thy have a writing expectations in which you have to PASS 9 essays, and if you don't reach the goal you don't graduate, these essays were very strenuous and caused many drop-outs or failures where if they went to any other HS in the state they could have graduated. These essays also do nothing for college because they are taught to Burbank's standard, and are not recognized by any University in the country. I had to completely re-learn how to write an essay upon entering college.
