  • I graduated sixth grade in 1989. I remember Mrs. B quite well. I remember in the 3rd grade I skipped school because my cat had been hit by a car and I was sad. The next day I had to see her because it was un-excused. I remember, she called me into her office, I was scared because I knew that I had done wrong but as she called my name I looked up at her and she smiled at me with the most warmest smile. She spoke to me in such a warm and caring voice that I no longer felt afraid, even though I knew that I was still wrong She made me feel comfortable, I was able to talk to her openly. That day I learned from her, I learned how to use better judgment, how to think about things and their consequences. I am now 30 years old and I can remember that as if it were yesterday. Mrs. B is a great principal. I cannot remember my Jr. High or my High School principal for that, but I remember Mrs. B. I feel that she deserves to be given an opportunity to continue to help and touch the lives that she comes across each day. I heard on the news today that the district is trying to remove her from her position and I feel that would be a terrible mistake.
