(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - Moved to Modesto in 1993 and my two children attended Enslen. I came in knowing nothing about the school but was impressed over and over by the genuine care and concern every teacher showed the students. It's size was a plus as it fostered a warm family atmosphere. My grandson now attends and although he was skirmish at the beginning, his teacher confidently taught him to control his impulses without crushing his spirit. Parent involvement is encouraged and helps teachers to facilitate an organized classroom while helping shy children build confidence by seeing loved ones help in class. Every teacher there has this kind of commitment and love for kids and teaching. Another plus is the lack of constant turnover in the teaching staff. Teachers are there because they want to be not because they have to be. The office staff as well are warm, intelligent and bend over backwards to nurture students and assist parents with paperwork or concerns.
