- I just moved into the area from New York and enrolled my daughter into the third grade at Haverhill elementary school. My daughter is a shy, native american girl and has been treated very well and kindly welcomed into her classes. She speaks highly of the teachers and the students helping her get settled. As a parent I was pleased with the help that we received from Janelle,in the office about the school and the community, she was very helpful and did not hesitate to find the answers to my questions.
The only concern that I had when I left the school after registering my daughter is that the principal did not make any effort in meeting myself or my daughter. Maybe he was not there at the time but I still thought that when a new student enters a brand new school district the principal would of made an effort in meeting their new student. Other than that I am very pleased with the communication that I have had with the teachers and the overall academics. We have only been here a month but sometimes first impressions can make a big difference but, I will submit an update in a few months. This is only my observation, maybe others have their own.
