• Springfield Schools

Springfield, which has the third largest district in Massachusetts, provides services for several elementary schools, six high schools, and seven specialized schools. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield provides services for the five elementary Catholic schools as well as Cathedral High School. Besides the Catholic schools, there are two Christian schools: The MacDuffie School, which is a nonsectarian school, and Pioneer Valley Christian School, which provides education for kindergarten through high school students. They receive their education through a comprehensive Christian curriculum. In addition to the public schools and the private schools, there are three colleges that provide education to students. They include Springfield College, Western New England College, and American International College. Springfield College has undergraduate and graduate programs for their students. There current enrollment for undergraduate and graduates is around 5,000. Western New England College, which is a private independent college for men and women, offers undergraduate and graduate programs through the Arts and Science School, Business, Engineering, and Law. The American International College, which is a four-year liberal arts college, has several graduate degree programs.
