  • Students will decorate a Christmas tree using crayons, small cotton balls, and other ornaments that they can glue to their trees.
  • Picture Word Book
  • For this lesson, students will have pictures of animals, toys, or other topics. Then, they will make a Picture Word Book.
  • Scrapbooks
  • Students will gather their pictures they have made and put them together in a scrapbook for their parents.
  • Turkey Color Page
  • Student will have a white pieces of paper with a turkey on it. Have the students color the turkey according to the directions you give them. You also need a sample page for them to see.

  • Students will create a snack using healthy pieces for the design and a slice of cheese.

  • ABC Book
  • Students will look at the different pictures such as telephone, cat, dog, cown, horse, chicken, duck, chair, and other animals and write the beginning letter of each picture.
  • Butterfly Concepts:High and Low
  • By playing with cardboard butterflies, children will learn the concepts of High and Low. This lesson plan also incorporates music, gym, listening skills, and art.
  • Train Concepts: Fast and Slow
  • Children will pretend to be the Little Engine That Could as they learn the concepts fast and slow.

  • Telling A Story
  • When learning about how stories have a start, middle, and finish, a student will dictate a story with these elements using a picture. This activity not only helps to develop a foundation for understanding story grammar and development, but it also stretches and uses the child's imagination.

  • Learning Numbers
  • Students will have a worksheet where they will draw circles according to the number they see. In Part Two, they will write the number of the circles in each problem.
  • Learning Shapes
  • Students will learn about shapes and beginning sounds. This worksheet is for older preschoolers.
  • Learning The Basic Shapes
  • You will show the students the different shapes such as circle, triangle, square, and rectangle. Then, you can give them the worksheet I've included in this lesson.
  • Learning to Count
  • This lesson is on teaching counting. Preschoolers need to learn how to count at a young age and before they go to kindergarten.
  • Sequencing
  • This lesson is about sequencing. I have provided a study sheet and worksheet for the students. This lesson is for the older preschoolers who are four and five. However, you can use this lesson for kindergarten students, too.
  • Sorting Objects
  • Students will have several objects of different colors that they can sort into groups of colors: All blue, all green, all white, and others.
  • Sorting Sizes
  • Students will have several objects of different sizes that they can sort from smallest to largest.
  • Turkey Feathers - Counting
  • Students will glue feathers to their turkey pattern. The feathers have numbers one to five on them. They will cut out their feathers and glue them in order to their turkey.
  • Wild Animal Math
  • Children will learn to sort and count animal pictures after first learning a little about the animals in their kits.

  • In this lesson, the students are to classify the animals: farm and pets.
  • Food Groups
  • In this lesson, you will teach pre-schoolers about the different food groups: meat, vegetables, fruit, dairy, and breads. They will also place pictures of food in the different categories.
  • Learning About Farm Animals
  • In this lesson, you will talk farm animals by showing students pictures of different kinds of farm animals.
  • Learning About Pets
  • In this lesson, you will talk about pets by showing students pictures of different kinds of pets. You can also read books to them about pets and have them color pages of pets.
  • Learning About Zoo Animals
  • In this lesson, you will talk about zoo animals. You will also review pets and farm animals.

  • You will take a book and talk about the title, the author, and what the author might want readers to know.
  • Learning About Farm Animals
  • You will read a book about farm animals and talk about the different animals. Then, you will have the students draw some pictures of farm animals. After that, you can label the animals. This lesson is for four and five year old preschoolers.
  • Learning Colors
  • Students will have a worksheet where they will draw a circle and fill it in with the color that they see beside the word.
  • Writing
  • Children should be able to write at least their First name, by the end of the school year.

  • Animal Sounds
  • You will read a book about the different animals and their sounds. Then, you will play a tape of various animal sounds for the children and talk about the different sounds. After that, they can act out the different animals and make the sounds.
  • Making It Rain
  • This lesson will help the students learn the process of the water cycle, and it answers the question where does rain come from. While learning this lesson, students will become the different parts of the process while making it rain on their own garden.

  • Farm Fowl
  • In this lesson, you will talk with students about farm fowl and show students pictures of different types of farm fowl.
