  • We are new a new family to Davidson Day & could not be happier. At DDS my kids have been challenged academically & have enjoyed the different teaching styles. Imagine going to an English class and instead of just reading a book & writing a paper, the class reads the book out loud during class almost in a play format. Each student takes on the role of a character & then they discuss how they would handle the dilemmas their characters are facing. Which style do you think your child would learn more from? How about learning Spanish as you listen to a news report in that language instead of just reciting sight words or studying science by examining all the different tricks you can do with a yo yo. Makes me want to go back to school. Thanks DDS teachers for making learning fun!

  • The best option for those unwilling to tolerate the low quality public schools in Northern Mech. County. Great academics, solid extracurricular and a growing sports offering make it a place where the kids are proud to go and are driven to achieve. Its a young school with significant changes that continue but most are for the better. Great teachers, administrators and faculty that care about the students and take time to help them outside of the classroom make this a welcoming, family environment.

We have had our kids here for 4 years now and the school has improved every year.
