(2 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - Teachers are above average and tuned into students needs. The guidance counselor and principal would receive an F as they are not tuned in to the needs of the student. They appear power hungry and have made changes to things in the past without regard to the wishes of parents and students. They do so with timing to prevent discussion and opinions from staff and parents. The counselor has allowed student aides to assist with GPA of students in direct violation the policy that students should not be involved with the files of other students. GPA has been reported to colleges incorrectly and scholarships have been missed because the counselor did not have the forms filed and available to students before the deadline. Administration does not want parents involved with settling disputes between students and administration. I would home school my student or open enroll them to a different school if I had young students today.
