My child is new to Louisburg Elementary. I went to the kindergarten presentation at the Open House Event before school started. I was impressed with the tools in place to facilitate learning and parent-teacher communication. It has been three weeks and I am not as impressed at this point. I am not getting as much feedback as I expected. My child's teacher missed the parent teacher conference and did not reschedule as promised. I hope she will respond to my recent requests for udates on my child's progress. A report card sent home 9 weeks after the fact only tells me what we should have been doing 9 weeks ago. I want to know my child's needs now so they can be addressed. We have a whole year to see if this improves, but I am not feeling optimistic at this point. I agree that the school is clean and neat and everyone smiles and speaks nicely, but I hope a good education fits in there somewhere.

I have eight grandchildren at this school. I was involved with another school system for twenty-eight years. So far everyone has been very thorough and professional that i have met and talked with. The school is very clean and safety conscious. Playground equipment is age approiate. I was impressed with the teachers i met. They want to make sure the children learn in a healthy and safe enviroment. I think my babies will have a wonderful year at this school.

my son is in kindergarden at louisburg and was actually inrolled in bunn elem and it was not the school for so i transfered him to louisburg i just like the cleanness of the school once he was there i liked it alot better teacher principal was very nice getting the children out of cars

My children are new at louisburg elem school this year, they were moved from royal elem. At first i was not happy now we have moved and they could return to royal but my children and i have chosen to stay. it is not far in the school year so i am still not sure, but everyone is so nice and my kids are happy. The school is very clean and the teachers have made me feel like they are very confident and giving my special needs child all the help he made need. I think everyone should stop with the negative and give this school a chance.
