Not a very impressive school a all. They do not address any issues of concern. I think the whole Austintown shcool system is ran the same way.

MY DAUGHTER WENT TO LLOYD, AND i HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ONE OF THE TEACHERS AND ALSO WITH ONE OF THE PRINICPAL. I FELT WHEN I TOLD THE PRINICIPAL HE WOULD CORRECT THE SITUATION BUT TO MAKES MATTERS WORSE I HAPPEN TO WALK INTO THE SCHOOL TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER OUR EARLY AND THE PRINICPAL DID NOT SEE ME AT THE TIME IN THE OFFICE AND HE MADE A RMEARK ABOUT ME JUST BECAUSE THE WAY I FELT ABOUT THE SITUATION. IT WAS NOT AN APPROPRIATE REMARK. WHAT IF ANOTHER STUDENT HAD HEARD OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER. MY OPINION AFTER THAT INCIDENT I WOULD NOT SEND MY DOG THERE. [when i brought it to his attention he denied it and would not even apologize for it] ITS BEEN QUITE SOME YEARS SINCE MY DAUGHTER LEFT LLYOD BUT ITS NEVER LEFT THE WAY I FELT ABOUT LLOYD. TO ME THE SCHOOL FEELS THAT EVEB IN THE WRONG THEY WILL STAND TOBETHER REGUARDLESS.

My daughter went K-3 at Lloyd Elementary. The class sizes are comfortable, they do get quite a bit of individualized attention. The extra help programs for children that struggle are great as well! THe principal takes an interest in knowing the kids and the parents! The PTA here is second to none and the teachers are wonderful! They are smart, friendly, take the time to get to know the parents, if there are problems they work with you to solve them! THey keep in contact with you when you need answers or feedback. The scores for the state are not the only thing that this school worries about, yes, they are important, but I felt my child's learning experience was even more important and I feel that they did too!
