the curriculum is far too simple, such that the honors classes don't qualify as honors when compared to other schools in the district. it is overpopulated, underfunded, and teacher/parent communication is nonexistent. problems with a particular student aren't addressed until it is far too late. the enforcement of conduct in this school is practically nonexistent. they would rather suspend a student who has been tardy to class 5 times in 2 months than expel a student who has shown up with drugs on property.
the teachers are grossly underpaid, at about $33,000 annually, with about a thousand dollar difference between teachers that have been there one year and those who have been there 20. and the teachers are also unqualified to teach their subject. one of my friends' father is a chemistry teacher there, with everyone failing his class, because he taught math at a different high school in the district and the school board thought they were the same subject apparently.
another teacher, my next door neighbor, majored in music in college and is now teaching freshman math

- This school is the best school that ever went to and i miss it so much. I loved all the teachers there and i miss all the teachers that helped me to be where i am today. I LOVE U GUYS!!!!!
