Akron Public Schools manages the public schools in Akron, Ohio and other communities that are nearby, which consist of several elementary schools, ten middle schools, and seven high schools. Besides the public schools, there are several private, parochial, charter schools, and colleges and universities. The Akron Digital Academy is the only charter school in the district. The University of Akron has several undergraduate and graduate programs. The College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering are two of the university's well-known programs. They also have a well-known graduate program, which is Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In addition to these programs, they have a law program, which has day and evening classes, where students can receive a Master's Degree and a Doctor's Degree. Wayne College, which offers two-year degrees, is a branch of the University of Akron and is located in Orville, Ohio. Students can also transfer to a four-year college after they complete their two-year degree.
