  • The above statement is just not true....it sounds as if the student themself wrote the review. Oh, now I see they did! The kids wear uniform and full dress uniform on Friday's only. This teaches them that all students are equal, whether or not the family has money or status. The studends do not have to wear their hair in a pony tail. They can wear any style they like, with the exception of long hair below the color for boys and of course hair dye is out. But, who would let their young daughter dye their hair anyway? If you want to have respectful young citizens with exceptional academic abilities that are thoughtful of others, then this is the school for you. We have been down both roads with kids in both public and private schools, and believe me, private school is wonderful. They enjoy it and totally appreciate the "freedom" of free dress day, when they earn it. They get so much one on one attention, that I cannot say enough about St. Joe's. The above comment expresses that the studends do not have a freedom of speech....well of course we all do, we do live in America. When you take students who do not respect their teachers, elders or even parents then St. Joe's isn't the place for you. They don't accept kids with behavorial or bullying issues. It just isn't tolerated and should not be anywhere. St. Joe's has no more rules than public school...it's just that the class sizes are smaller and teachers can actually "see" what's going on. If there are issues or problem kids, it's delt with immediatley. Kids can change their clothing once they get home....we don't "live" at school!! We love St. Joe's!

  • They take away all of their students individuality. There's so many rules you can't even die your hair. but what's the point, it has to be held back in a low pony tail! They've taken away the students freedom of speech that they've earned as American citizens! Students should learn to express them selves in order to learn who they really are.
