  • Placing our son into St. Paul's was the worst decision that my husband and I could have made. They do not place much emphasis on academics; as such, our son (in kindergarten) hadn't learned his alphabet and could not distinguish between letters and numbers!

We took him out of St. Paul's in December, and put him into Brader Elementary School (Christina School District). Now, only two months later, our son has far exceeded even our best hopes. He comes home excited about learning; about a week ago, he started reading!!!

In addition to having a weak (or non-existent?) curriculum, the teachers and school director at St. Paul's had little control over the students and few positive remarks to make about any of the students. On the rare occasion that we heard anything from them, it was negative.

At Brader, the teachers of both our son and the children of our friends are in regular contact with us, providing us with constant feedback about the children's performance and behavior.

We would strongly recommend anyone who is considering placing their child or children into St. Paul's reconsider with all haste. Either select another private school after observing the teaching style there or place them into Brader. They are sure to learn more, feel more confident, and be better adjusted to school and friends!
