  • Some people at this church burn bridges.
After graduating from their Kindergarten, I visited for some event on the first floor, still a kid. The stairs to the second floor were blocked. I stood there, reminiscing, wishing they weren't blocked. I didn't touch the blockade, or try to use the stairs. But some inappropriately rude, nasty woman said "don't go up there", in an accusatory manner.
Many years later, I’d park at their lot ($10), to attend nearby Punahou Carnival. The volunteers were polite.
This year, parking was $13. I’m OK paying that, unless I'm disrespected. As I drove to depart from the crowded lot, the church’s volunteers gave confusing directions. One jerk volunteer said to another: “he doesn’t know what he’s doing” (talking about me!). Ironically, I would’ve gotten out more easily without their help.
I’m never giving another dime to this place, and I’m never going there again.
