  • I am currently in the eighth grade at North Greene Middle School. I feel that the education provided at this school is not the problem. The problem is the teachers and staff. Unfortunately, us students have learned the hard way not to ever trust a teacher or staff member at this joint. They gossip more than the students. They make you think you can trust them with your life problems and the things you feel uncomfortable talking about, but this is the most fake, yet convincing, act you will ever see. Once they find out things about you, they take advantage and make sure to let everyone else in the school know what you're going through. They feed on being "heroes" and throwing pity parties for you, just to look like the good guy. Before you know it, your whole life is ruined because you trusted a complete jerk to help you with your problems. Who wants to be around people like that? The place is a pit hole, and luckily I am getting out of it soon.

  • I'm not sure who this person is that gave the F on their critique, but I would like to counter their comments.

My mother graduated from this school in 1962. She has a degree in Nursing. NGHS didn't seem to negatively affect her much.

I graduated from NGHS in 1986. I am presently serving in the US Navy and have been for approximately 22 years now. I have two AA degrees, one in Criminal Justice, and one in Small Business Administration. NGHS didn't seem to negatively effect me much either.

Here is one more for the records. My brother graduated from NGHS in 1996. He is a Nationally Accredited EMT, didn't seem to negatively affect his career path either.

The teachers were caring, understanding, and helpful. They were strict, they had to be. Teenagers can and will pull dumb pranks, if given the chance.

I credit my teachers for giving me the direction, guidance, and opportunity to succeed. Without this I would have not been able to honorable, humbly and proudly served my country for over 22 years.

Maybe the person who gave this school a very negative report should have been a bit more attentive when they were supposed to be attending classes. Then they might have been able to comprehend the meanings behind the teachings, and not complain about what the teachings were about.

NGHS teaches solid core subjects that are desperately needed in today's society.
