  • Once you agree to drop an IEP it is hard to have it re-established. You should contact the principal and the SOWIC director for the district and voice your concerns immediately. Also, send written correspondence to see your child's teacher regarding this matter. Follow up with call to school office to set up meeting with teacher, principal and SOWIC.

  • My son was on IEP the school suggested that he is doing so well that does not need his IEP. Now he struggles and I cannot get anyone to help him or answer any of my questions. Poor communication between teacher and parent.
