  • My son is enrolled at JMA he is currently in kinder and has an amazing teacher. We are so lucky to have found JMA, it all started that my son had missed the "reg kinder" deadline by only one day so JMA principle is that the parent knows whether or not their child is "ready" not someone who has never met your child before. Lucky us because i'm not sure if my son had been in the "regular kinder" that such a large child to teacher class size if they would have been able to help us discover that my son was having pette mal sezuires or not So I say Thank you JMA for caring so much about your students and the families. JMA is where you want your Child Trust Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This school is a great school. I went there for a year and a half and it has enrollment of now over 180 kids. This is an awesome school, because instead of having schoolwork CRAMMED down your throat every day, instead of it being dictated at you on how the assignment works, and having only one night to do the work. J.M.A. teachers actually teach you step by step on how to do an assignment, ask if you're understanding it, you work at your own pace, and you get farther ahead in your schoolwork than you EVER would with any other school here in this town. How dare you say that you urge parents to not enroll their kids at J.M.A., it is an amazing school and they're making an awesome comeback. ALSO, this is NOT an "alternative" school. Children are actually screened before they can ever step foot in the classroom. I GUARANTEE, that if I'm still in this town when I have kids, they are MOST definitely attending J.M.A. I graduated from this school, and I'll have you know, that I was NOT just another number in a cap and gown but like a son, brother or a mentor. This school teaches you in ways that a high school could never teach you, just in the fact that you see kindergartners walking right past you when you're in the 12th grade. It was an amazing experience and if you're new to town and a little intimidated at having to walk half a mile in the hot sun just to get from building to building at the high school, it is best advised that you attend J.M.A. You will gain so much from it.

  • I caution anyone who places their child in the care of this school. First of all, there is continuous scandal. Those kids will not graduate, because of this. This school use to have an enrollment of over 200 and now it is down to maybe 50 or 60 kids that come from 25 or so families. I URGE YOU TO DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL!

  • hello I want to let everyone know that this school was a great school, it has it's flaws but what schol don't? JMA has a wonderful enviorment there was a teacher once there and her name was Ms.Logston she encouraged me to do well in school. She helped me pass history. she was determinated for whatever means. By the principle Mrs. standaford. I belive if she was still a staff member of JMA the school would be a more productive place. bring her back!!!!!!!!
