School Description

Pro-Vision, Inc. has served thousands of young males, ages 11-18, from the Greater Houston Community through the Pro-Vision Manhood Program, the Pro-Vision All Male HISD Charter Middle School (the first single sex middle charter school in the state of Texas), and the Pro-Vision Job Enterprise/Entrepreneurship Academy.

Pro-Vision, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing Houston’s underserved young males into leaders of tomorrow. Founded in 1990 by former Philadelphia Eagles all-pro cornerback Roynell Young, the organization has helped more than 1,500 young males throughout the Greater Houston Area become leaders and productive citizens.

The Pro-Vision Middle Charter School is the first all male HISD charter school model in the state of Texas and the city of Houston. Former U.S. Secretary of Education and capital campaign honorary chair Rod Paige is an advocate of Pro-Vision’s cause and is championing the next era of its efforts through the building of the new training and outreach facilities.
