(1 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - Levelland High School is a school full of teachers who, here, don't try to give us the education we honestly need. They say they are preparing us for college, yet in college we are not criticized for looking or dressing differently as to here. We are all different. We cannot be perfect, as i have told many of my teachers and administrator, but they want us to be. It's as if they are preparing us so we can be eaten by this worlds jaws of death on its powerful grasp of tomorrows end. The teachers give us work sheets after work sheets and if we ask for even a small amount of help, we are told that we should already know the answer. If we knew the answer, we wouldn't be asking for help. The reasons we come to school is to get an education. Many of the students here are not required to come to school at all, along with myself, but we choose to help better ourselves. We choose not to work dead end jobs like many of our parents, but to try to get an outstanding education. What we require are teachers who understand that and who are prepared to teach us what we must need to know. And another thing, I don't see students bothering teachers during their lunch time, so why do they bother us? They tell us where we can and cannot sit, who we can hang around with, and even tell us if we can stand up or not. We are people as well and have a right to do our own things at our own time!
