  • My child has attended this school since preK-3 and it has been a wonderful experience for her and for us (her parents). She has received a great education by excellent teachers and we have experienced a great family atmosphere from within the school community.

  • Excellent sports teams including: Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, and Cheerleading. Other school activities as well but may depend on age or grade level. Great for children who are ready to learn though religious and academic experiences. Caring and Loving teachers and Staff. New things: Playground equipment, Computer Lab including: Flat screen computers, two smart boards, new chairs, new score boards, new painted floors in gym. Things that people want: New bathrooms, more sports equipment, New cafeteria tables and chairs, more playground equipment, and more science lab equipment. Great Science lab which students get a hands on experience with science taught by Mrs. Hurley honorable and very well liked teacher. 6-8 have rotating classes. Honors Math program for 4-8 provided by Mrs. Longo. Second langue is Spanish taught for grades 7-8 by head priest Father Ed. Lunch is great and affordable provided by lunch ladies who may I mention are great with kids. Special subjects include for grades K-8 : Music, Art, Library K-4 and free period library grades 5-8, Computers, and Gym. Music also includes a winter and spring musical winter grades K-4 spring grades 5-8. Winter Holiday Craft Fair and Spring Tricky Tray are fun events for the family and you should really check them out and go to www.cabrini.com during November for the Craft Fair and try March, April, or May for the Tricky Tray and Prizes are HUGE at the winter Craft fair Raffle including large gift baskets and larger prizes which you have to go to the winter fair to check out it is in Piscatway on 2300 Cooper St, Piscataway, NJ right off of River Road or Plainfleild Ave. Another thing you might want to check out if you are interested in this school is the student teacher tours provided by both the students and the teachers. Programs such as in class help service and trailer service is offered. Academically this school offers plenty of opportunism including: English which includes: Reading, Spelling, Handwriting for grades K-4, Writing, Grammar, Basic English soft and hard cover books, and many library and computer lab assignments in this subject. Social Studies or History includes: Soft and hard cover New Jersey Social Studies books and other social studies book with different lesson each year on different places all over the world, and many library and computer lab experiences. Science includes: Science lab grades 5-6 as of last year 2006-2007 but this year may only be grades 6-8, New Jersey Sciences books hard and soft and many other science book experiences depending on lesson, and many library and computer lab actives. Math includes: Honors program grades 4-8 and regular math all grades, Hard and soft cover books, and many hands on activities. Religion Includes: one or two soft cover books depending on grade level, church experiences, hands on activities. Spanish includes: lessons daily grades 7-8. Saint Frances Cbrini continues to be a great safe place for everyone to be were kids make great friend and learn too.
