  • I just graduated from here. If given the chance to redo high school, I would rather attend a public school than TCS. The teachers here are uncertified by the state, sometimes incompetent, and the school does not truly care about academics. The only times grades are taken into consideration is if an athlete is failing a class. Then a coach will pressure the teacher to "help" the student by adjusting his or her grade. Teachers have been fired for "being too hard". There are not enough programs for advanced or gifted students. Because of this, my educational experience has suffered. Teachers do not challenge students hard enough. Basically, your tuition just pays for an easy A, not an education.

  • My child has attended TCS for 10 years and has had an excellent education. She scores high on the Stanford Test and the SAT. She could not do this if she did not have a good education. She will be more than ready for college. And I might add she will have enough college credits to be at least a Sophomore in College when she graduates TCS. Best of all...this is a Christian School!

  • My child has attended Trinity Christian School of Cedar Hill for the last four years.
Let me start by saying I have done my child a big disservice sending them to this school. Trinity’s teachers and academic standards are just terrible. Most teachers are uncertified in the subjects they teach. This year they didn’t even have a H.S. English teacher until Jan. The first half of this school year the students have been babysat by whomever they could find to cover this class. In previous years they had a chemistry teacher that couldn’t speak English proficient enough to communicate with the students. He was unable to understand their questions. He quit after two months. I could go on and on about other teachers unprepared to teach the subjects they were assigned to teach. If you care about your child being successful in college this is Not the school to attend.

Discipline and accountability, they do seem to care about the students, however they don’t hold them accountable for their poor grades or bad behavior. Instead of addressing these issues the school would prefer to just sweep things under the rug.

In conclusion, my purpose in writing this review is not to bash this school. My wish is to simply inform another parent, that if your purpose of sending your child to a private school is to prepare them for college and the challenges they will face after high school. This is not the school to send your child to.
