  • My twins went to this school and had a wonderful experience at Celebration Montessori School. They both loved their teacher. The school was good for my daughter because she was dyslexic and she was able to learn at her pace. The public school in Osceola County for her was only good from Kindergarten to second grade as she had teachers that wouldn't let her fall behind. Once the testing started in 3rd grade the children with learning disabilities were left behind. My son did well at the public school however; too much homework was given and I put him in the Montessori school. I don't believe in homework. I feel that school is the place to learn. This is the concept also for the Montessori school. The Public School in Osceola County is like sending them to a baby sitter and sent home with tons of homework for the parent to teach the child. I feel if there must be homework the child should get 5 questions from each subject for homework. If the child can't understand those questions then he needs to relearn the lesson. This isn't possible in Osceola Public school as the teachers are too overwhelmed with the testing and large classrooms.

  • This school does not promote real life values. Ringing a bell and everyone sits in a circle is great. Don't get me wrong. But not in fifth grade for crying out loud!
