  • I have found the school to be a good one overall. I have been impressed with its academic achievements as seen by its FCAT scores. Some of its teachers are real wonders! The Greek language class, however, I find to be inadequate. The school is well organized although the administrative staff could be expanded upon. The two main staff members are husband (principal) and overbearing wife (administration), and they seem to be unable or unwilling to expand the administrative staff sufficiently to allow other staff to take over some of the daily activities of running a school. The principal focuses primarily on strict obedience of students. The wife is confrontational and unfriendly. Because the school is renting from the Greek Orthodox Church, the two entities sometimes share the school building space. Plato is a step above public schools, a step below private schools.
