  • I do not like this school. i do not like how it is run. I am seriously thinking of pulling my son out of this school and home schooling him like so many other parents are doing in the area.

  • Does a teacher have the right to approach a student while they are sitting at their desk in a classroom full of other students grab their notebook, rip out pages, and throw them in the garbage. I don't think so, especially when the student has completed the class assignment and answered the teacher’s questions about it correctly. So what… if a student is writing in their notebook. If the child is not misbehaving what is the harm. I used to doodle while in class it NEVER was a problem. Perhaps discussing the matter with the student in private might be a good alternate action in the future. How would you like your child to be treated? How would you like to be treated? In my opinion this kind of behavior is inappropriate, and the principal should be informed of the situation. Let parents, teachers, and students work together to better understand each other. Our actions reflect the atmosphere in our school community lets try and understand each other and remember our differences make us special individuals. Proud Americans... "Caring "Bulldog" Parent

  • Gonzales Middle is a really good school-- Though it does have its flaws. But it is well ran by the principal Mrs. Charlet, who also has good disciplinarian skills and enforce the rules and other acts because of school wide behavior. The teachers are on the ball and work together as a team...Gms is one big family!
