  • Memorial was a wonderful school for many years. After getting a new principal many years ago, things went downhill. She didn't seem to know how to enforce proper discipline. Kids who often got in trouble were rewarded with special treats if they could behave for a week. Kids who never acted improperly were never recognized for their outstanding behavior. Discipline was often not enforced, other times it was too extreme. It often depended on the mood of the principal and whether or not she 'felt' like handling it at the time.

The school went downhill with after she became principal. It's sad, this was a good school.

  • dont really care for this school if your not lil girl or your mom is not a lunch lady you can forget it. too many people the parents think they work there and must be there at all times. the kids are never right always wrong and the teachers and "the parents[lunch moms]" are always right. and by the way you must act like an adult not a kid!!!!!!!

  • I would suggest the principal take some classes in leadership skills. Instead of encouraging the children to act like babies she needs to help them deal with difficulties. Talk to them about being part of a team and the importance of handling situations themselves vs. tattling.
