  • Pontiac Northern first opened its doors in September, 1958. I was one of the lucky students who passed through those doors that fine Autumn day and was part of the first graduating class in June, 1959. The school was new, shiny and beautiful, but now that it is almost 50 years old, I'm sure the building has weathered like this alumni. It will always be remembered by me of the way it was then. It has a very special place in my heart.
