  • The school district is horrible the bullying is horrible and no one cares they sweep it under the rug. This is a horrible district to have your kids learn in take it from my review and the first one do not move here unless you plan to struggle with the school district and the administration. They cover up situations to make the district look good, don't be fooled check around and ask parents I am not the only one feeling this way. They have been sued numerous times for not taking the correct measures in different situations. We are moving because of the problems with the school! BEWARE DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR CHILDREN TO A HOSTILE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT IS WHAT BOTH SCHOOLS ARE!

  • For the past three years I have been on the fence about staying in Newmarket or moving else where because of the school. This year has I have had enough and we are looking for places to move. This started theend of last year when my then second grader was able to convice her teacher she didn't have to take the bus home so they kept her thier as a parent rider with out a note from me or call. Then this year started and again my daughter was missed placed her and a friend went to the water fountain before getting on the bus and what happen some how no one noticed and they were left behind. Then later in the school year my mother who watchs my daughter so I can go to work gets a call from the school at which point the lady asked where is my daughter. My mother replies what do you mean I put her on the bus this morning. The lady on the phone goes oh well let me go check her classroom. Sure enough she was sitting in class some how she was over looked.
Then all year I have been getting no where with her teacher whenI have question or concerns about her home work. Just yesterday I send a note in explaining that she didn't understand her spelling home work to which her teachers reply was " Well because of the field trip we didn't go over it in class, but if you have her look in the dictionay it will help explain it to her. " Now don't get me wrong I don't mind doing that but I thought thier job was to teach the subject before sending it home. this kind of thing has been happening all year and I can't take it any more.
