  • My son attends school at Berry High. He is constantly teased because of a speech impediment that he cannot help. The teachers witnessed this, and only encouraged it. He had to go to special counseling. She didn't help the situation much either. Since this school has favorites, she was friends with the students who were teasing my child and didn't help my son any.

  • this school is okay, it has its problems like a few families run the school, not the principal. This school needs some discipline! My daughter hates it!

  • I do not agree with the principal being such a good principal and doing a great job. My son has told me that he screams and hollers at the kids. I don't think that is the answer in dealing with kids. I believe that if more parents were involved with school that they would witness what a principal Berry High School has. He does need help from the teachers. They know what is going on in the classroom. Several kids that go the Berry High School have told me that he tries to start or provoking a fight with him. I don't believe that screaming down the hall is very professional. As for the front desk they are polite and do a great job.

  • Berry High School is a great school! The principal has done a great job this year of focusing on what is happening in the classroom. My son comes home excited that Mr. Herren has visited his classes to see what is going on. Some of the teachers need this so that they will stay out of their chairs.

The only other negative thing that I know of is that the front office staff apparently does not respect the principal since they try to make decisions that are not theirs to make.

Good job Mr. Herren. Keep up the good work and remind your employees that you don't need any help from them. Our students respect you and your good teachers. They know who cares about them.
