  • I went to the tribal school for 10 years and graduated in 2010. What I loved about this school is everybody was close and I felt like I was part of a family. If I didn't understand my work, all the teachers were more than willing to help me at any time. Because of this school, I am now attending a 4 year college love where I am right now. I recommend students to come to this school. The school doesn’t have many extracurricular activities, but if the parents and students make an effort to help, the school will grow. My class and other students knew what we wanted and we pushed to get it.

  • We are the senior class of 2011 at this school and two of the students in our class have been here from the school's beginning and we would like to let the reader's know that our school DOES have windows, the Principal IS qualified, and the test scores are steadily increasing. It pains us to see that some of our parents are against the school's policies; it is because of this negative attitude that the school isn't up to par with other schools. Our school has great potential, regardless of whether the other reviewers believe it or not. We are proud to be the 4th graduating class of HSTS, if the school wasn't qualified, then how do you explain our success?

  • I am sorry, but I do not see anything positive about this school. There are no extra curricular activities for students, kids need to have a good experience with education. If they got the opportunity to go to a real school they would be much better off.Its too bad there isn't a public school closer to Hollister. Just keep praying something good happens for this school!

  • This is an excellent school. I think the more the parents would work with the school staff, the more the kids can learn. If you have a negative attitude and constantly see the negative that's all you get, because that's all you are looking for. Look for the postive, its not hard to do, its there if folks just open their eyes.

  • This school is great. Has a great staff that cares about its students and their education. I went to this school for a little while and learned more than I have at any school. Special shout-outs to Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Lemin, Mr. McRae, Mr. Buchanan (hope you get better, and you're the best science teacher I've had, no question about it), and Mrs. Gwen, you all are excellent teachers, keep up the good work. Also I would like to acknowledge my kindergarten teacher and principal of the school Mrs. Davis, and also to Mrs. Iris, you are doing a great job as well. Also, the seniors are great, helpful, friendly, and extremely smart (not putting any other grade levels down, me myself right now am a junior). Overall, I think the school is great and recommend it to any student who wants a great education with teachers who care.
