  • My daughter has attended Moore Square for two years and we are very pleased. Principal and staff are supportive providing a challenging learning environment, I would not consider anywhere else for her to go. It has brought out the best in her academically and socially.

  • It's an okay school but a lot of kids act up! and the punishments are way too minor or major. A kid (who is finally expelled) got into a fight, abused girls, and threw a book at a kid's head all in his first year and it took another year of all of that to finally get him expelled! it just doesn't seem safe. And why do the teachers yell at us and punish us because of a few students. "what about the good kids?" "well, you get punished as a group!"a seventh grade teacher said that. Honestly, more yelling then teaching. And have these teachers ever heard of toothpaste because it hasn't seemed like it! Another teacher makes (...) references and another goes in depth on his "personal life!" We DON'T get text books because we "cant be trusted with them." HELLO? Ever heard of STUDYING? One teacher makes black references and only marks certain kids in trouble.

I like the school but you may hear about these same things.

But over all, it's pretty cool. i like the drama program and art is okay. it beats the school i would have been going to. At least here i have an unlimited supply of friends.

  • If you choose to send your child here, you better think twice. I go to Moore Square, it is a amazing school but not the best learning environment. I really didn't want to go but then I did and now, I really don't want to go there anymore. The only thing keeping me from telling my mom to switch my school is my friends and that we get to go off campus and walk around down town since we are a museum school. Just cause people post good things about this school, it doesn't mean its the best ever!

  • Moore Square is a good school but we do not learn as much as we should. We get yelled at more than we learn but mostly we get yelled at cause other students choose to act up. I don't think that its fair that we have to take time off OUR learning just to hear teachers yell at us for no reasons!

  • The staff is loud and unprofessional. The students have more control of the building than the staff. There are no textbooks that are assigned or available to the students for homework usage. The teachers do not grade all asignments and parents truly do not feel welcomed. I heard all great things before enrolling my child but they were false reports. This school needs an immediate overhaul. The students are not learning to full potential due to all of the other ailments in the building. Don't send your child here.

  • Moore Square Museum Magnet School is an excellent choice for a student who wants to study in a smaller middle school (we have under 600 students) and take advantage of many hands on learning opportunities. Frequent museum visits, interactive labs, excellent fine arts programs, and a dedicated staff are key components at M2M3. The drama, art, music, and technology electives are all excellent.
