  • I am sorry to say that I graduated from this high school last year, and I currently go to New York University for Creative Writing. As a writer, I did not enjoy my time at this school because it offers almost no funding for the arts or English courses. There are only three AP courses available which is completely despicable and the teachers have no interest in their students at all. This school spends money on such trivial things (such as the million dollar football field built not too many years ago). School is supposed to be a place where minds are brought to fruition, where young people beginning to come into themselves expressively by speaking their minds and being exposed to the world around them. Crestwood High School does none of this. Most kids here conform; there is so much fear, so much politics getting in the way of education. I think that it really shows something spectacular about me that I actually got into a good college after attending this school for four years.
