  • This school is not what it appears to be on paper. The 6th grade teachers are not willing to help those students who struggle. Parent requests go unnoticed by some of the teachers. The principle just wants to say how many students are struggling when you approach him with the issues your child is having... if that many students are struggling, you would think they would try to get to the root of the problem (the teachers) rather than just blaming only the child. Look into the 6th grade retention rate for Loftis in 2011, someone needs to be held accountable for this many 6th graders failing... but instead it is all put on the children. The teachers should be held somewhat accountable... a good teacher can teach any child, don't fail the kids when the teacher is the true failure. BEWARE before you send your child here... if they need to know someone cares, are sensitive (even slightly) or not an "over achiever" they will not do well at this school because these kids don't get the help that they need

  • there admin. is very poor they are unwilling to work out a plan for students that have ADHD. They refuse to work with parents to make a plan of action. Their answer to every thing is to kick the students out of school not thinking about the fact that the students need a education even though they have ADHD

  • School admin has a poor attitude. Unwilling to work with students or parents, with a very obvious defiant attitude.

  • this school was fun but it was completely harsh on the students and the dress codes should be dropped.
