  • What an excellent experience. Although the comment below me claims that the school breeds antisemitic, homophobic, George Bush-worshipping fascists (and incorrectly spelled the word "fascists"), I would like to state that I received an education, and now attend a highly selective top 10 national university. Oaks Christian provided me with all the tools necessary to succeed in college and beyond. The review below me was completed in 2007, while I was in high school, and I graduated in 2010. It is possible that the curriculum, student body, and faculty underwent a dramatic shift, but I do not think that is the case. Oaks is a challenging and rigorous environment, and a loving social setting. I had many friends in high school who chose to attend local public high schools. They received good educations, but not by the Oaks standard. Also, the pressure to partake in drugs and alcohol is significantly low at Oaks. Never in my career was I ever pressured to participate. In addition, I am not a white supremest, fascist, homophobic, prejudiced or racist. I took many advanced courses, graduated with excellent marks, and do not support the Ku Klux Klan. Imagine that.

  • What a disappointment. I don't know where to start. Oh yes, let's start with the political issue. I would say that about 95 percent of the families are republicans. Not your run-of-the-mill average republican, I mean racist, white supremacy, antisemitic, prejudice, homophobic, George Bush-worshiping-Facists. My kids have come home from school crying because of all the racist jokes told in the classroom that the teachers supported and encouraged. I thought Christians should love others, and accept people for who they are. Not the case in this school. This school claims to "challenge" students with a "rigorous" and "accreted" curriculum, but like always, the school disappoints. Many classes are even years behind public school curiculum. They even allowed a few kids with mental disabilities (Not naming any names) into the school while rejecting various, smarter individuals. They didn't even allow my profoundly gifted son(Yes,I showed them the IQ results) to take any advanced classes. In all, they do teach traditional Christian values, though in a very Ku-Klux-Klan manner
