  • Ok, maybe i'm young and not meant to understand, but shall we remember a few key things? First of all, the people answering the phone when you call to complain are STUDENTS! I was one of them, and for days on end i was called profane names and told that I should be ashamed for what I did. What did I do? Secondly, all of this supposed Rape stuff happened at a party where minors were drinking. The school is NOT responsible for that. Thirdly, the (...) now is NOT the (...) that made the decision to make her cheer. Get it right or get off your high horse.

    Thank you.

  • Silsbee, proud home of the ever-present football-player rapist! Endorsed and supported by staff and just waiting for your lovely young daughters to cheer them on. Classy. NOT.

This school and its board should be ashamed of themselves.

  • This is a terrible school! :( I hate to say it but it's true. My daughter enrolled three years back but we transferred her out after that whole mess with the cheerleader getting (...). Fortunately we are able to afford a private school, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Up until that point she had to "tolerate" (...) harassment nearly every single day from groups of boys in the hallways who hang out and make crude comments about pretty girls' bodies. It's considered normal there and the teachers do NOTHING! I'm so glad we took her out before any harm came to her.

  • I cannot believe your cowardice. I cannot believe your lack of strength in upholding right from wrong. I cannot believe your preferential treatment of a so-called baketball "star" who is morally corrupt. I cannot believe your decision to make the victim, a cheerleader, root for a bad person who harmed her. I am 70 years old and I have more bravery than all of you put together!

  • This school administration should be ashamed of itself. How could they do that to a girl who has been through something so horrible? How do they sleep at night?

School would rather have a rapist represent them in sports then do the right thing.

  • The superintendent and principal ought to be ashamed of themselves. Kicking a rape victim off the cheerleading squad because she refused to cheer for her rapist by name? Why the heck is this guy still even participating in sports? Good ole boys network of ignorance is alive and well!

  • They kicked a girl off of the Cheerleading team because she would not cheer for the man who raped her.

If that is the kind of school you wanna go to then this is the place for you. My boy will not be attending Silsbee High School.
