  • MY name is stacey, and i graduated from austin meehan this year (2010)! I love this school so much! I didn't get to graduate, but i passed and im moving on to high school. Im kinda upset that i didn't get to walk (Graduate) but that's (...) fault! She hates me and i hate her! But any way The school is great and the friends you will meet are awsome. I am going to abraham lincoln high school next year. But i would recommend this school to new students. The thing i hate are the lockers, they are so small! but other than that i hope you enjoy the school!

  • I'm a student here at austin meehan. I'm graduating this year (2010). It's honestly not that bad of a school. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Rafter, she's my homeroom teacher. She's taught me soooooo much. She's the best. But anyway. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the school to anyone but i wouldn't talk someone out of it. Despite the rumors of this middle school, it's OK.

  • This school was my favorite school. I have done some bad things in that school that I am not proud of and I am sorry for that. I should have respected that school more. If it wasn't for this school and the friends I had in their I would have not been here today. I thank the Principle the vice principle and the security gaurd. I wish i would have not done these things because then I would have actually graduated in a real graduation and not some stupid picnic thing at my disiplinary school. THANK YOU AUSTIN MEEHAN

  • I'm a student in Austin meehan middle school as of right now in the 8th grade and its nothing like what other people say our teachers are caring and only want the best out of us. the students not like what other people say mostly all of the 8Th graders get along and 7th they took away 6th but doesn't matter is been here since i was 6th grade and you don't even know how much it has changed so don't think anything of our school until you come here

  • well im actually a student that went to Meehan for 3 years i just graduated this year.[2007] i'd like to say some thing about my school when i was going into Austin Meehan for the first time i was absolutely scared to death from some of the rumors i heard like 8th graders beat up the 6th and you know all about them but when i actually got into the school i learned that it's nothing like the rumors my parent at first didnt want to send me there because of the rumors but i'm telling you don't believe them most of them aren't true i can say the whole 3 years i've been at Meehan were get so to all the parents that say this school is bad don't because you never went there and if you did it probably changed a lot since then the teachers and principals are getting a lot more strict and the violence in the school has gone down. there was only about 1 fight in my class this year compared to the fights in 6th grade which was about 5 so the school it getting a lot better slowly.
